The wait is almost over, the Ducati 1199 Panigale on its way.
The new generation Superbike will be unveiled at the EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan 10-13 November.
The new model not only will deliver record performance, breathtaking design and technical innovation, it also breaks with our Superbike tradition by adding a name to its 1199cc engine capacity, making a significant and warm association to its historic roots in the Borgo Panigale (pronounced "Pan-ee-gah-lee") area of Bologna. In an Italian territory known as "Motor Valley" and where high performance and racing runs through the veins of its passionate people, we decided to underline our pride in being world ambassadors for the "Made in Italy"
We’ve seen plenty of renderings of the 2015 Ford Mustang over the past few months, ranging from some that look almost exactly like the Ford Evos Concept to some that aren’t too different from the styling of the current Mustang. However, one of the things those renderings have in common is that they are all guesses of what the standard production 2015 Mustang will look like. Up until now one has taken a crack at what a modified version of the Mustang could look like. That’s changed with this rendering from Matt Bernal of Bernal Auto Style, who has created an artistic representation of what he thinks the 2015 Saleen Mustang could look like.
“I went for more of a grown up super car that also attracts a younger audience like Saleen has always done,” Bernal told us. “The Saleen brand has always tried to seperate themselves from other ‘tuner Mustangs’ and have always been their own breed. They create an almost organic shape that uses the Mustang existing lines to create a different vehicle that’s not just a Mustang with a body kit.”
Bernal’s artistic representation of the 2015 Saleen Mustang is based heavily on the styling of the Evos Concept, but the typical Saleen design cues are readily apparent from the aggressive front fascia and side skirts to the black grille to the vented hood. A set of 10-spoke wheels tucked in below the fenders finishes off the look.
Ford has announced plans to introduce five Fiestas at the SEMA Motor Show.
First up, the 3dCarbon Fiesta has been equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes a front splitter, revised side skirts, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a rear diffuser. The model also has two-tone leather upholstery and 19-inch Pinzette-M Forgiato wheels with Pirelli tires.
The Ice Nine Group's Fiesta ST is designed for rallying and features a carbon fiber hood, fender flares and a rear wing. There's also a custom body wrap and 17-inch Braid wheels with Falken Azenis RT615K tires.
Next up, the MRT Fiesta ST is based on the model that is in Forza Motorsport 5. As a result, it has a two-tone blazing green and deep black exterior. The model also has a stainless steel sports exhaust system, a coilover suspension and high-performance brakes.
Bojix Design's Fiesta ST has an aggressive appearance thanks to a ground effects package and a custom BASF paint job. There's also a coilover suspension, a cat-back exhaust system and a Banks Straight-Shot water-methanol injection system.
Last but not least, the COBB Tuning/Tanner Foust Racing Fiesta ST pays tribute to the United States military and features a carbon fiber hood and a digital camouflage wrap. The model also boasts a cold air intake, a sports exhaust system and an upgraded interior with a Kicker audio system.
